Milborne St Andrew is located in the heart of Dorset on the A354 mid-way between the market towns of Dorchester and Blandford Forum. Only a stones throw away from the birthplace of Thomas Hardy who re-named the village 'Millpond St Jude' when he featured it in his book 'Far from the Madding Crowd'.
