The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter
In a basement two men wait, their sinister purpose revealed through their idle conversation. Ben’s chillingly calm manner in contrast to Gus’ agitation reflects their attitudes to the roles in which they find themselves. Arguing over semantics, and bewildered with the activity of the ancient Dumb Waiter,Ben’s frustration with Gus mounts until the shocking outcome of the claustrophobicsituation. Harold Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter was first produced in 1960 and has become one of his most successful stage plays, blending Pinter’s distinctive brand of humour with a menacing plot.

Jess Tasker
This production is Jess’s first outing as a director for the Milborne Players. Whilst at University, Jess directed several plays including one for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Directing The Dumb Waiter has been a long standing ambition, and Jess is excited to be undertaking the show with a fantastic cast and crew.

White Lies by Richard James

Four old University chums meet up again after thirty years for a meal and talk.
All four ladies have lived very different lives, each started out with very different aspirations in life. As they start to reminisce, we gradually get to know how their lives have panned out over the years.
Bea is only concerned only with herself and her own success, and doesn't care about the casual way she has hurt or used the others in the past, and the other ladies decide it's time for payback... But their little revenge stunt goes a little further than they planned. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andy Coetzee
Having been a member of the Milborne Players for 6 years and exhausted all the excuses not to direct, I am looking forward to working with a brilliant cast on my directorial debut.
